We were delighted to hear that Amazon won the Most Popular Graduate Recruiter in Retail Award at the UK TargetJobs Graduate Awards 2018. The award, presented by Joanna Lumley at the awards ceremony on 28th March, was received following a poll of over 62,000 students who exclusively decide the winner. This is the third year that Amazon has been awarded by students in this sector category.

Amazon was also named one of the top 25 graduate employers in the UK Times Top 100 Graduate Employers survey this year, moving up 15 places from 2017. The Times rankings are based on an open-ended question presented to students, asking ‘Which employer do you believe provides the best graduate opportunities?’, and without a list or suggested entries, roughly 20,000 students are asked to independently choose which employer they believe fits.

Dee Clarke, Sr Manager, Campus Recruiting, Global Talent Acquisition, Amazon, said: “The Campus Recruitment Team is delighted that graduates across the UK see Amazon increasingly more so as the place to start their careers and we look forward to kicking off the season again in the Autumn.”

We have run a graduate scheme across our UK business for a number of years, with graduates coming from a diverse range of educational and personal backgrounds. Roles are available for graduates from any degree discipline - ranging from finance, seller services, marketing, and business intelligence through to software development engineers and machine learning – and Newly joining graduates have the opportunity to launch their careers in a fast-paced environment where they receive on the job training from day 1.
