The donation period has ended, but you can still recycle your old electrical and electronic equipment.

If you cannot donate your old electrical and electronic equipment, you can recycle it!

To celebrate UK Recycle Week Amazon UK will donate to WRAP (Registered Charity No. 1159512) £5 for each WEEE item returned to Amazon for recycling under its waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) take-back programme during the period 20 September 2021 until 31 October 2021 inclusive, with a goal of 20,000 items.

Using our take-back programme is simple and free – just follow the steps below, and we can even collect it from your home!

  1. Visit www.amazon.co.uk/recycling
  2. Request a prepaid label
  3. Gather up to 5 small old electrical and electronic equipment
  4. Prepare the package. You can reuse your pre-used Amazon packaging (Amazon boxes)
  5. Print and attach the prepaid label you received by email to the front of the package
  6. Bring your package to one of the UPS drop-off points or arrange a home collection

UK Recycle Week (20th September to 26th September 2021) is the nation’s annual celebration of recycling, when retailers, brands, waste management companies, trade associations, governments and the media come together to achieve one goal: to galvanise the public into recycling more of the right things, more often.
